At ACL, we make this process very simple for you. We offer a complete hard drive/media destruction service. Our 20 ton crusher will completely destroy the hard drive case and platter rendering the data absolutely unrecoverable. Destruction Process Customer's computers are picked up and transported to our facility. Upon arrival, we take the following steps to secure our customers data and begin the destruction process.
On-Site Destruction ACL is excited to offer On-Site/Mobile hard drive destruction services. We are now able to deploy a van, equipped with a drive crusher directly to our customer's location. Inventory, if required, can be completed via bar code scan. The destruction process is then completed and fully viewed by customer. Digital Video (upon request) In order to insure full compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act), some companies now require video proof of the hard drive destruction process. At ACL, we offer a digital video recording of the entire destruction. Depending on file size, a digital copy is provided either on flash drive or DVD. Certificate of Destruction Certificates of Destruction are issued to each customer, providing the assurance that all personal and proprietary data has been destroyed, and that all destruction and recycling has been accomplished in full compliance with EPD/EPA guidelines and requirements. Each certificate includes: date service was performed, name of ACL representative prforming the service, location service was performed and serial number of each drive destroyed. |
